Thank you so much for making gun owners look like a bunch of kooks. We have had enough trouble getting things like concealed carry passed here, and threatening to kill people would is sure to not make it any easier. And before you complain about ?licensing a right,? I agree, we shouldn?t need a license to exercise our God-given and Constitutionally recognized right, but currently we could be arrested if we carry concealed, and having part of a right is better than none of it.

As to peaceful action through politics v. armed resistance, politics has been doing pretty well since, oh about the 70s. Have we lost some ground? Yes. Have we gained ground? A lot. Do we have more to go? Of course. But we have managed to go from no right to carry to at least being able to get license in most states. We have the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act that has prevented gun makes from being sued out of existence, which might not seem that big, but if you can?t get arms, you can?t keep and bear them. We have Castle Doctrine gaining steam. The Supreme Court finally acknowledged an individual right to arms. And many more. What can armed resistance claim? And remember, every loss you can pin on politics is armed resistance?s loss as well. Neither group was able to prevent it.

As to this draw-a-line-in-the-sand attitude, it works a whole lot better when we aren?t advancing. What are we supposed to do, draw the line, and dare ourselves to cross it? Not such a great plan. We should have a line in our minds past which we won?t be driven, but right now we are winning

As to threatening to kill people, you can?t kill fast enough to keep you from getting killed or arrested, and without a lot of people behind you your death will not further your cause. In fact, in the case of gun control it will probably harm your cause, as the MSM and the government will do nothing but paint you as a nut. What good are any of your rights in prison or six feet under? Sometimes sacrifice for the greater good is in line, but without backing you will die for nothing. Part of the political process is that sometimes you lose. Start killing people at that point, and that will be the end of the process for you, because you will be removed from the process, by death or by prison, unless you have enough people behind you. And 6% of gun owners probably isn?t enough to do the job.

There are too many anti-semite, neo-Nazi fleas on that dog and I ain't got time to dip 'em anymore.

I still go to KABA for a good blend of 2nd Amendment news every morning. And I would be remiss not to note that KABA was essential to building my readership in the early days of Sipsey Street. I have tried to help them out too, passing along fund-raising requests (for which I caught hell from some quarters).

But it appears to me that though I have a good friend in Bruce Krafft, that Mark Taff never has liked my stuff much and to fight the comment wars over there takes time I simply do not have.

Everybody quite rightly keeps screaming "BOOK!!!!!" at me over here. There is also the press of day-to-day events which must be dealt with -- and never forget there's a reason and an audience for every post, even if it is not obvious or appears frivolous. The blog is a reflection of the outside struggle, which happens in real time, in the streets and in the countryside, and not just for hearts and minds.

I was just wondering what happened to my first reply to this thread, concerning Dot Bibee, which, if I remember correctly, was posted on the 26th.

Grant it, I probably should've posted it to this section instead of the other, but, since the thread is over here, too, I mean.....it just seems kinda weird that it didn't get posted.

Certain forums are moderated so that I can control the placement of posts. The Church of Jesus Christ Christian/Aryan Nations and militia forums are set up so that they are not open discussion forums but so people can use a 'quote' function to post to the discussion forums if they like. The reason for that control is so that this forum, used in lieu of a web page/blog for some postings can function without clutter or 'muhdikkk!!!' postings. I prefer not to use the gross use of censorship, but rather to keep mamzer-monkeys in their place. Everything in its proper place is the true belief foundation of Christian Identity.

So, eventually I got into the admin section and approved the post. I want people to comment on militia news, however, I also want to keep certain places uncluttered, thus I have essentially two threads, one on the announcement subforum and one on the discussion subforum. There is essentially unlimited space and time, the purpose of this is for organization so that people can read announcements from myself and so people also can read discussion and debate on another subforum.

Thanks for bringing this matter up.

I met a woman by that name back in July of 2000, when I went with the East Tennessee contingent of the Reform Party to a statewide meeting in Nashville to vote some Perot loyalists who had been particularly annoying off of a committee.



She was a homely old bat, to be sure, but she seemed kinda nice to me. Of course, appearances can be deceiving. She seemed to take a sort of motherly interest in me, right from the get-go. We had to wear these large number cards around our necks, to identify ourselves as delegates, and I let her tie mine on for me, because I couldn't do it myself. Maybe dodged a bullet, there, for all I know.



I was wearing my John Birch Society t-shirt with the famous Sam Adams quote on the back, and she mentioned that the Middle Tennessee Militia used the same quote as their unofficial slogan. She said she had "some friends" in the Middle Tennessee Militia.



It was kind of a weird scene, actually. I was listening to the various conversations on the van going to and from the meeting, and everybody seemed to be the real deal, but, when I mentioned the recent Bob Jones University controversy, everybody got predictably quiet. One guy said he agreed with me that the media had been hypocritical in its coverage, but, when I added, "Why is it that any White man who doesn't want his sister screwing around with some black dude always gets labelled as an 'evil racist' these days?" you could've heard the crickets, had there been any.

Militia Leader Revealed to have FBI Connections

Abstracted from the Tulsa World and various Internet sources.

The "patriot" movement was stunned in mid-April as the trial of militia leader Ray Lampley and his accomplices for participating in a bombing conspiracy revealed that a major militia leader had been accepting money from the FBI for months. "Colonel" John Parsons of the Tri-States Militia, based in South Dakota, was brought to the stand on Wednesday, April 3, to testify that Lampley had traveled to South Dakota to seek the help of the Tri-States to blow up various buildings. But the former truck driver also admitted that his Communication Information Center, consisting of phones, computers, faxes and an 800 number, had been subsidized to the amount of $1,775.00 monthly by the FBI. Parsons claimed that if it had not been for the FBI money, he would not have had the funds to work full-time to run the center, and would have had to return to truck driving, his previous occupation.

FBI Special Agent William Grode confirmed in his own testimony the arrangement with Parsons, noting that it had been going on for seven months. "The reason [for] trying to keep [Parsons] in there," Grode explained, "is I feel he has become a calming voice for these militias across the country." Grode was the agent who initiated contact with Parsons, on instructions from his superiors, who wanted a better understanding of the militia movement after the Oklahoma City bombing. In addition to the monthly checks, Grode also funded a trip by Parsons throughout the Southwest, paying the militia leader $500 a week for the three-week trip. The agent testified that Parsons did not share rosters, training sites or meetings with him.

Once the Tulsa World broke the story, news of Parsons' involvement with the FBI flashed across the Internet and the patriot fax networks, creating a small thunderstorm of surprise. Although all of the attempts to unite the disparate militia groups in the past had failed, the Tri-States Militia had probably the best claim to being a coordinating and communications board for militia groups, having ties with such organizations across the country -- some 900 by Parsons' own estimates. The militias, already operating in an atmosphere of extreme paranoia, lashed out at Parsons for betraying the movement. J. J. Johnson, a leader in the Ohio Unorganized Militia and sometimes considered one of the movement's relatively moderate leaders, released an "open letter" in which he announced that his group would not "tolerate, endorse, or communicate with any so-called Patriots, Militia organizations, or Militia members giving AID and COMFORT to any federal agency for any reason, whatsoever, period. Your (Tri-States) actions, regardless of any excuse you may provide, are TRAITOROUS."

Equally stunned were the members of the Tri-States themselves. Perhaps typical of the reactions of many such members was that of Alabama militiaman Mike Vanderboegh, who admitted that he was "sickened by the revelations...sickened, angered and dismayed." According to Vanderboegh, a member of the paramilitary group's national board, some board members resigned upon hearing the news, while a number of militia units affiliated with the Tri-States announced their withdrawal from the confederation. On April 14, Vanderboegh announced that if Parsons did not resign, board members would ask for a "court of inquiry" for Parsons.


The revelations might well mean the end for the Tri-States Militia, although some members are still hoping to hold it together. But the intense paranoia that surrounds every facet of the militia movement, and which frequently causes its members to label each other as "plants" and "agents provocateur," is unlikely to allow members of the extremist groups to give the Tri-States the benefit of the doubt now that its ties to the FBI have been revealed.
