James "Braveheart" Floyd Waves Chicken-on-a-Stick At A Criminal Regimeist Enforcer During His Anti-NWO Rally in Cullman, Alabama, circa 1996

    James Edward Floyd, Jr.
    (February 5, 1938 - September 25, 2013)

Funeral services for James “Jim” Edward Floyd, Jr., 75, of Cullman, will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 27, 2013 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Good Hope Baptist Cemetery, the Rev. Joe Webb officiating.

Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Floyd passed away Wednesday, Sept. 25 at his residence. He was born February 5, 1938 to parents James Edward, Sr. and Mandy Virginia Brown Floyd. “Jim” led an extraordinary life where he tried to make a difference in the world. He felt led to preach the Gospel at age 12, and people came from everywhere to hear “Little Jimmy Floyd” preach. He served in the U.S. Army from 1956 – 1962. He started a steel fabrication business that began in his yard and grew into a multi-city corporation. He was a pilot, played music on his guitar, and loved to sing. Jim was "politically incorrect" and believed in a code of Honor established for Sons of the South by General Robert E. Lee. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Sylvia Matthews Floyd (affectionately known as "Saint Sylvia"), his son, James Anthony Floyd, his wife, Elizabeth, and their children Luna and Nicholas, and his daughter, Ericka Lynne Webb, her husband, Raymond Webb, and their daughter Halle Nicole.

Visitation will be Friday morning from 9:30- 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

The pallbearers will be Mitch Baker, Jim Barnes, Tony Goodwin, Ronnie Hiebert, Mark Lucas, and Derek Underwood, with Dwight Gene Self as honorary pallbearer.
